The City of Elgin is partnering with ETC Institute, a nationally recognized local government research firm, to conduct this statistically valid survey. Responses from residents help the city better understand community needs, evaluate services and identify areas where improvements may be needed.

The survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete, and every response matters. All responses will remain confidential.

Once the survey results are compiled and analyzed, they will be shared with the Elgin City Council and made publicly available on the city’s website, including through an interactive data dashboard. The feedback collected through this process will help guide future planning, investments and service priorities across the community.
